RYCO THEATRICALS, in association with The Actors Fund, Broadway Records, and 10glo.com,
are pleased to announce the project #BWAYWORLDRECORD. Join our mission
to make an attempt at breaking the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the
record of largest online video album of people singing the same song.
We need to collect over 5000 clips of singers, dancers, actors, and humans from
across the world to sing our cut of the song "FROM NOW ON" by Benj Pasek and
Justin Paul from the film "The Greatest Showman." All proceeds from
advertising, donations and streaming of the song and music video will benefit
The Actors Fund.
To submit your rendition of "FROM
NOW ON" please visit the website at hdbcasting.com/bwayworldrecord
to select your choral part (SATB) and find the music to record your video
version. Then just upload your completed video via the submission button on the
page. This will lead you to our partner 10glo.com. We recommend you share your 10glo
video link to social media using our project hashtag: #bwayworldrecord.
All submissions to the website and
downloadable via social media will be pulled and compiled for the final video
and submission count. To donate directly to our fund, go to actorsfund.org/BWAYWORLDRECORD.
Deadline for submissions is DECEMBER
1, 2020 with a live stream premiere of the final music video
scheduled for the end of December during the holidays.
This
attempt looks to join the thousands of GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS titles,
especially those featured in the recently released GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS 2021 Edition.
Ry Armstrong
(Producer) was born and raised in Seattle and grew up in a place where the
mountains meet the sea. Surrounded by the arts, he was compelled to follow a
path to study the Theatre. Shortly after finishing his first professional
summer stock contract in Missouri, he made the move to New York City. Since
being in New York, he has been involved in three Off-Broadway productions and
one National Tour. The move across the country allowed him to meet more artists
and inspired him to finalize his first recording project, Crossroads. While his charity
album for Broadway Cares paid homage to his roots, producing this work was the
catalyst for him to become the producer he is today. ryarmstrong.co

The Actors Fund is a
national human services organization that fosters stability and resiliency and
provides a safety net for performing arts and entertainment professionals over
their lifespan. Through offices in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, The Fund
serves everyone in film, theater, television, music, opera, radio and dance
with programs including social services and emergency financial assistance,
health care and insurance counseling, housing, and secondary employment and
training services.
Since March 18, 2020, The Actors
Fund has provided more than $16 million in emergency financial assistance to
over 13,000 people who work in performing arts and entertainment. With
shutdowns on Broadway and in film and television, theater, concerts, dance,
music and many other areas of entertainment, the need is great and growing. This
emergency financial assistance is helping our most vulnerable and those in
financial crisis to cover basic living expenses, such as food, essential
medications, utilities and more.
As the situation with Coronavirus
(COVID-19) continues to evolve, The Actors Fund has temporarily transitioned to
online and phone-based services, which remain available for everyone in the
performing arts and entertainment community. These services include: Artists
Health Insurance Resource Center, The Career Center, Housing Resources,
Addiction & Recovery, HIV/AIDS, Women's Health and Senior Services,
Counseling and Emergency Financial Assistance, as well as The Friedman Health
Center for the Performing Arts in New York City.

What's the fastest game bird in Europe? This was the question that inspired the
founding of Guinness World Records back in 1955. Starting with a single book
published from a room above a gym, GWR has grown to become a global multi-media
brand, with offices in London, New York, Miami, Beijing, Tokyo and Dubai.
Today, we deliver world-class content, not just through Books, but via TV
shows, Social Media and Live Events. Our in-house consultancy works closely
with brands and businesses around the world to harness the power of
record-breaking and deliver award-winning campaigns and business solutions. Our
ultimate purpose is to inspire people - individuals, families, schools,
groups, companies, communities and even entire countries - to read about,
watch, listen to and participate in record-breaking. To join this
record-breaking community - and find out the answer to that original question -
